FAQS

Are the prices flexible from the package prices mentioned?

In simple words, No. These package prices are competitively priced and reflect the amount of time and effort put in to achieve the final results. It is a common misconception that taking and editing photos are an easy task. Sure it may seem easy on your iPhone or your smartphone, but those are Ai algorithms working for you.

Why do I need to hire you to take photos when my smartphone can take nice photos?

Sure your smartphones take nice photos that maybe pleasing to the eye (sometimes). However the trouble arrives when you want to project these photos or print these photos. Smartphones photos lack the quality required for printing and projection compared to photos taken professionally with professional equipments.

What is the best outfit colour to wear for my photos?

This is a very good question! Often times when you book a sessions with me, we will discuss the location options. I can help suggest certain colour tones for outfit selection depending on which location we decide to shoot in. I generally tend to suggest outfit colours that contrast the colours found in the selected location. Generally stay away from black or grey and any check coloured clothes. They do not look the best unless it’s dual toned or monotone checked colour clothes.

What else do I need to know before the shoot?

Drink plenty of water starting 24 - 48hrs prior to the shoot. This may seem odd, however being nicely hydrated will help your skin look better along with the whiteness of your eye.

What cloud storage do you use to deliver the edited photos?

I use Google Drive for the time being to deliver the photos. Google Drive does not compress or alter the photo in anyway. I highly recommend downloading Google Drive App on your smartphone to download and view your photos faster and easier.

Will you post my photos on Instagram or Facebook?

The answer varies for this question. I tend to post 30% of my work to Instagram. I avoid posting photos shot in the same location or with the same props to avoid any repetition. I also only have Instagram for the sake of promotion and therefore uploading all of my work onto Instagram is unnecessary for me.

Will you post my child’s photos on social media/website?

No, I do not share any photos of children without prior consent from their guardians.

What happens if it snows/rains during the shoot?

In the unfortunate event of unfriendly weather, we can gladly discuss rescheduling the entire photo session or part of the remainder of the photo session for another time. Availability may vary.
